She was rational at times and people assumed she lacked emotions but there was a lot more to it.
What concerned her the most was herself.
There were burn marks on her thumbs, cut marks on her arms and legs; it gave her a sense of relief.
Her cutting behaviour became an addiction; compulsive behaviour.
