If one day we go back to being strangers, it’s okay.
That doesn’t mean I hate you, or I’ve forgotten about you.
It just simply means that I am giving you back your peace.
I want you to live your life the way you deserve it.
Meeting you and falling in love with you wasn’t a mistake.

You didn’t block me.
You didn’t unfriend me.
You just stopped choosing me, and somehow that hurt more than goodbye.
One day I was the first person you texted. The one you laughed with. The one you vented to, and the one you counted on.
Then slowly you stopped replying, stopped sharing things, stopped showing up.
No fight.
No explanation.
Just silence.
The worst part.. you still exist in my world.

It seems the only way to escape it, is to completely detach.
But if you detach too much, you begin to dissipate, dissociate, and dissolve into the abyss.
So I’ll go down this road again, and let my mind fool me another time, but i know how this ends.
The hot sun was starting to feel like a dagger, and the dread of the next day was creeping in.
Your thoughts don’t make sense, your body doesn’t feel like yours, and the world outside feels distant.
The light in my mind seemed dim.
The voice in my head was slowly suffocating me.
This emptiness clings to me.
I try to ignore it, try to smile through it, but when I’m alone, it all comes crashing down.
The silence becomes unbearable, and the tears come without warning.
I wish I could just disappear for a while, maybe forever.

They said something, not even realizing it cut deep, and suddenly, everything went silent except for the voices in my head.
It was like they were screaming at me, and I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think.
All I wanted was to run, to escape, to be somewhere far away from those words, from this feeling.

There are words you swallowed, phrases that got stuck in your throat, and silences that screamed inside you.
Every mark on your skin is a story you have lived, a battle you have won.
You broke in ways no one saw.
You screamed in silence.
You smiled while bleeding out.
She didn’t want to be perfect, she just wanted to be seen.
But no one saw.
No one ever stayed long enough to notice when I disappeared.
I did my best to be everything.
But I didn’t realize how empty I’d feel.
If you’re done with me, or you’ve lost interest, just be honest.
Don’t slowly disappear, don’t ignore my messages, and don’t respond like you never cared.
That silent distance, those cold replies – they hurt more than the truth ever could.
I’d rather honesty than be left wondering what I did wrong.
If you don’t feel the same anymore just say it.
Don’t break me by fading out like I never mattered.

All the words he said, the promises, the little moments – I thought they were just ours.
But I realized they weren’t, and something in me broke.
I keep pretending everything is okay.
Convincing myself that it’s just a rough patch, nothing to worry about.
But deep down, I feel it – how things are slowly falling apart.
It’s getting harder to breathe, harder to smile, harder to carry the weight.
There’s this emptiness that clings to me.
I keep every memory like a wound I don’t let heal.
I try to ignore it, try to smile through it, but when I’m alone, it all comes crashing down.
They don’t realize that behind my smiles and my small laughs, I’m carrying so much pain – pain that makes me question my existence every single day.
Every word, every look, it cuts deeper than they could ever know.
I just wish I knew where to rest, where to breathe without feeling like I’m drowning, because right now…
I don’t know how much longer I can keep pretending I’m fine.
When I cry, it’s not just about that moment.
It’s years of holding it together when I should’ve fallen apart.
It’s all the words I never said.
The times I told everyone I was fine when I wasn’t.
But I don’t just cry.
I unravel.
It’s like my body remembers every heartbreak.
Every disappointment.
Every time I felt invisible or not enough.
It’s like I’m reliving all the pain I thought I buried a long time ago.
Like it never really left.
And I know when I’m being irrational.
I know my reactions are extreme, but knowing doesn’t stop the spiral.
Knowing doesn’t quiet the voice in my head.
One small shift in someone’s tone, and it feels like my entire world is collapsing.
Every goodbye feels like the end of the world.
Every delayed text or distant tone sends my brain spiraling into worst case scenarios.
My mind is at war, and I’m stuck in the middle trying to make sense of the chaos.
I wish I could just exist without questioning everything.
Without replaying conversations in my head.
Picking apart every word.
Every look.
Every silence.
I dont want my mind to twist every little thing into something it’s not.
But I can’t help it.
It’s like my brain is constantly scanning for a sign that you’ll leave.
That one day you’ll wake up and decide I’m not worth the effort.
Sometimes I can’t control my mood, emotions, silence, and anger.
Please know that I’m trying my best.
Sometimes my emotions get too heavy, and I struggle to express what I truly feel.

She’s not herself right now.
Her head doesn’t know how to feel.
She’s zoning out, and questioning everything while holding back tears when she desperately wants to cry.
I guess it’s all part of the struggle.
But, I didn’t handle it well.
I went insane, lost my spark, bled in silence, shattered in private, and wore a smile that lied better than any mask could.
You made her doubt herself.
She would’ve given you everything you wanted.
All she asked for in return was reassurance.
But instead, you ignored her effort.
Now she doesn’t speak up, reach out, or trust.
She is the way she is because she’s never once been someone’s first choice.
I explained my hurt and I still got hurt, so I taught myself to stop talking.

I chased after that bullet and begged it to end me because I wanted to be loved that badly.
She’s trying to work through her depression and anxiety without bothering anyone.
She cares for you too much to ruin your day by talking about what’s “in her head.”
She’s still here, and she still loves you.
She doesn’t mean to push you away, she’s just trying to protect you while trying not to drown.
She’s just having a tough time right now..
As much as I wanted it to be you, you really showed me how much you didn’t want it to be me, and I need to accept that.
So I just stare at my phone, typing and erasing, carrying thoughts ill never send, feelings you’ll never understand.
I don’t stay alive because I want to.
I stay alive because I promised to.
If only they knew how heavy it feels to keep a promise I never wanted to make.
She’s sorry she got attached to you so fast.
Turns out she was numb for a while and you made her feel something she hadn’t felt in so long.

I drained myself trying to make things better for you.
I waited for your texts, gave you space, and let you reach out whenever you felt like it.
Suddenly, everything i post – my tiktoks, my stories, my playlists – seems to be about you.
I just want to cry until I fall asleep.
I just want my brain to stop working.
Im so depressed and drained.
I don’t know what to do with my life anymore.

I wish I could turn these feelings off.
I wish i could stop replaying every memory, every word, every glance, as if they hold some secret meaning i missed.
I’ll never be enough for you.
Not in the way I want to be.
You’ll move on, and I’ll still be here, silently wishing things were different.
I don’t even know if you care.
Maybe you never did.
And that’s the part that really kills me.
The possibility that all these feelings, all this pain, might mean absolutely nothing to you.
I remember being afraid to like you, but I did.
I remember being afraid to love you, but I did.
And then, I was afraid to lose you, but somehow, I lost you anyway.
You slipped away little by little, so quietly I almost didn’t notice.
At first, it was the late replies, the conversations that felt more like obligations than something you wanted.
Then it was the silences that stretched longer and longer, until silence was all that was left.
But i still can’t let go.
I still check my phone, hoping to see your name, knowing I won’t.
I still stay up at night, replaying our last conversation, wondering if I could’ve said something, anything, to make you stay.
I sat and cried because I had no choice but to accept the decision you made.
It felt like my world was crumbling, piece by piece, and there was nothing I could do to stop it.
I wanted to beg you, to fall apart and show you how much I couldn’t bear to lose you.
But instead, I sat there, silent and broken, whispering through my tears “please don’t leave.”
The words felt so small, so helpless against the weight of the pain.
The ache in my chest was unbearable, and yet, all I could do was cry.
I don’t even know if you’ll ever understand what I gave.
What I hoped for, or what it cost me to walk away.
I stayed when I already knew i wasn’t your priority.
I saw the signs.
I felt the distance.
I wanted to believe I mattered.
But the truth is, I was only ever an option.
You left me with silence.
With loose ends.
I dont want to keep wondering, or hurting.
I deserve peace.
So, I’m letting this go.
No last fight.
No dramatic exit.
Just silence.
Just fewer texts.
Longer pauses.
When I was all in, you were distant.
When I texted first, you answered late.
When I opened up, you changed the subject.
So I stopped.
Stopped reaching out.
Stopped keeping the connection alive on my own.
And suddenly, you noticed.
Suddenly, I was funny again.
Attractive again.
Worthy again.
But only when I became quiet.
Only when I made it harder.
Only when I wasn’t there whenever you felt bored.
So no – you don’t miss me.
You miss the version of me that waited.
That tried.
That made loving you easy even when you made it hard.

We never talked about it but we both knew it was ending.
The silence was heavy like a goodbye neither of us could say.
Some endings don’t come with closure – just distance and the quiet grief of knowing that what we had was already gone.
You made me believe it was real when it never was.
You let me give everything.
My time.
My heart.
My softness.
And when I had nothing left, you disappeared.
I excused your silence.
I explained your distance.
I held on to the version of you i built out of hope.
But maybe there was never a we.
Just me – loving loud.
You – taking quietly.
You didn’t break me.
You drained me.
Slowly.
Carefully.
Until I stopped asking for anything at all.
And now.
You don’t get to miss someone you chose to let go.
You never missed me.
You just missed how easy it was to be someone’s entire world.
It almost became something real.
Almost.
We talked every day.
Sent each other voice notes just to feel less alone.
You told me things you hadn’t told anyone, and I believed that meant something.
It felt close.
Like the start of something that could’ve been good.
But then you slowed down.
Pulled back.
Stopped replying with the same warmth.
Like I was too much for something that was never meant to become anything.
And maybe that’s on me – for thinking ‘almost’ was a promise.
But the truth is, you were never confused.
You just liked the attention more than the connection.
And I was never your person – just the placeholder that made you feel less lonely for a little while.
All those promises.
All those words you threw at me.
They were never real.
You played me.
I let myself fall for it.
You never chose me.
You kept me in your life as long as it was easy.
All I wanted was consistency, honesty, and some kind of future.
But to you it was just words and empty promises.
You left me with silence, with loose ends, with the weight of trying to forget someone who never made me feel chosen.
Your absence says enough.
I could reach out, but I know it wouldn’t change anything.
You didn’t just walk away, you made me feel like I was never enough to begin with.
I’ve let go.
Not out of anger, but because I finally saw that holding on was only hurting me.
I’m no longer waiting, hoping, or wondering.
When you finally understand the damage that you caused, i hope it haunts you.

I was nothing.
I was only yours when it was convenient for you.
When love didn’t require effort.
When choosing me didn’t cost you anything.
The rest of the time i was…
Invisible
Unwanted
Forgotten
You had the chance to prove me wrong.
You never really made space for me in your life.
You just kept me in the background.
I don’t need explanations anymore.
Don’t worry about hurting my feelings.
I’ve been left in the dark so many times.
I’ve been everyone’s last choice.
I’ve been pushed away.
I’ve learned to accept disappointment.
But, I like to hold onto the idea that things will always work out.
You were never really mine.
No promises, no labels, no clear beginning.
But my heart didn’t care about definitions.
It chose you anyway, and maybe that’s what hurts the most.
Missing someone who was never mine to lose but feeling the loss all the same.

I’m in love with someone I can’t unlove.
Someone i can’t be with.
It’s the kind of love that lingers.
Quiet
Constantly aching.

So here i am… loving you from a distance.
Wanting you in silence and hurting in ways you’ll never understand.
It’s funny, isn’t it?
How i clung to the broken pieces of us while you let go without hesitation.
I really think there’s a reason I like him so much.
Something is telling me not to let him go.
Every time I follow my heart, it leads me to him.
I mean, what other explanation is there.
Why is it that he is all I can think about?
Why is it that no matter how upset I am, I see him and can’t help but smile?
Why is it that when he smiles at me, I get that feeling in my stomach?
And even when he’s broken my heart, and hurt me as much as anyone could ever hurt me..
When he lied to me and I hated him.
Why, then, did I still feel those same feelings?
Answer me that, and then I’ll tell you why I let him hurt me so much.

I hate when people ask me “why are you so quiet?”
Because I am.
That’s how I function.
I don’t ask others “why are you so noisy?
Why do you talk so much?”
It’s rude.
I’m the girl that seems to fit in everywhere, but honestly I don’t know where I actually fit in.
I’m the girl that seems to be pretty on the outside, but honestly, there is more to me than just my looks.
I’m the girl that seems to be constantly laughing and enjoying herself, but honestly, I am often crying and wishing everything would be different.
I’m the girl that seems to be really lucky to lead a happy family life, but honestly, you don’t live with me, so you don’t know what’s going on inside of my house.
I’m the girl that seems so perfect, but honestly I’m far from perfect.
